Hygiene is important. Cleanliness is next to godliness and all that. Hygiene is important everywhere but it is very important in the workplace. Hygiene means you do not smell like a goat. It means you try to wash your hands, face, your hair, or your body. Rule Number 6 - Lighten Up!

There are no other rules. Benjamin Zander described Rule Number 6 in his book The Art of Possibilities . Here is a vignette from one of his talks and he describes rule number 6 how it came into play. I have been keeping Rule Number 6 as guidance with the blogs I have been creating. It has been helping me remain grounded (what?!? I don’t have more followers? This is tough. This is big. Standing up for anything is hard. Difficult decisions need to be made. Discomfort creeps into your chest, your guts. You damn well should. Crush your fears and be strong against the tide. That is why you are here, you are strong and want to be stronger. This is why you are in the role you are in. This is why you level up; to be better than sheep and lemmings . Fight mediocrity. Fight passiveness. Fight entropy. Fight apathy. Now, could you sell your soul?
